Life Like Slot Cars are a brand of slot cars are now owned by Walthers. Walthers are well known for making model train sets. They have branded the slot cars line Life Like Racing.

 

The Life Like slot cars are HO scale slot cars which is 1:64 scale for slot cars (which is different to the HO scale for trains).  

 

Recently they have brought out a number of interesting new slot car sets. Two of the most engaging are the Life Like ATV Off Road Racing Set and the Life Like High Iron & Burnin Rubber Train And Race set. Both are priced at around the $100 mark.

 

The Life Like High Iron & Burn Rubber Train and Race set is a combination of two complete sets. First off, you get a complete model railway set with everything you need to get up and running. Secondly, you get a complete slot car set, again with all you need get going racing. There is one shared piece of track is an intersection piece between the railway track and the slot car track for some added thrills to racing.
